Ok BPL..here goes a thread that I'm sure has been posted plenty of times. I don't wanna do a "bump" so I have just created a new thread. what are your favorite lightweight hiking pants for the fall season. I kind of like convertible style for here in the North East NY/NJ/PA area. I currently have North Face Paramount pants but they are 4 years old and I'm looking to get a new pair. They are also a tad bit heavy. I was considering GoLite pants..anyone have any other recommendations? I also have Marmot scree pants which quickly became my favorite..but I will keep those for my winter trips. So basically throw me some quality lightweight convertible style pants that I should look into for fall backpacking trips in warm/cool/mild/damp/wet conditions. Thanks. ..
