In an effort to get off the beaten path…I'm thinking of doing a side trip to Wallace Lake and Wales Lake the day before heading to Guitar Lake area.
Anyone have any info on this? Is it worth adding the ~10 ish round trip miles?
Is there a use trail? Can you see Whitney from there?
Looks like 15 miles-ish from Wallace to Guitar lake. Sound about right?
I'm open to other alternatives between forester and Whitney.
