I definitely understand the need for deep sustained stillness. But my version was always several hours or up to a few days. Soon, I'm craving companionship again. This guy must have felt the same but just never felt the call to companionship again. Sounds like he may never have had it to begin with. Fascinating.

To me that is more worrisome rather than laudable. I'm only speaking to the above quote, i haven't yet read the article it was based on.
