Looking to order a pair of these but have never tried them on and wonder how they fit size wise? I wear an 11 in Nike Frees and a 10.5 in the Merrell barefoot shoes. Wondering which size I should order

Thanks!

I have four pairs of Inov-8 shoes of three different models. In general, if I wear a size 9, I order a size 9, and I receive a size 9.

I find they fit true-to-size. Conversely, I find that Merrells fit a bit small.

I wear a 12.5 Innov-8 Roclite 295, and a 13 Merrell Ascend trail glove. Both fit very well.

I have found that I need to size specifically for different models. The shape of the last, combined with the stiffness of the material used on the upper, sometimes requires me to upsize anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5 shoe sizes compared with other trail runners. I have a broad foot and so tend to stay with the Natural fit. The Precision fit doesn't work for me unless I upsize by 2+.

You don't mention which Inov-8 shoe you are interested in. I recommend that you use the shoefitr app that's available through runningwarehouse.com – it allows you to compare the fit of the shoe you want to buy with what you currently use, and recommends a size for you. I have found it very helpful, but not infallible. You may want to hedge your bets and buy the two closest sizes, returning the one that doesn't work for you.
