Salomon XA Pro 3D Trail-Running Shoes or The north face 106?

i really like the salomon's but they have this giant arch support that feels like a brick on my very flat foot…is there a solution to this?i removed the insole but it didnt help much.
They didnt have the nf 106 in my size so i ll have to see about those.

I like the Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra Mesh (longest shoe name ever!) to use 4 pairs on my AT thru-hike — but upon post-hike reflexion I think I developed more foot pain than needed due to the high arches in the shoes.

I used the Brooks Cascadia now (lower arch and very similar grip/protection on trail) and never looked back. My favorite for tamer trails is still the Altra Lone Peak, but the traction isn't as good as the Cascadia.

the nf shoe i was looking for was the 109 ultra not 106…
