Hello everyone,
Recently my brother-in-law and fellow BPL member James Marshall (veganvengeance), was to begin a long distance bike ride with a few friends from San Francisco to San Louis Obispo and depending on progress possibly to Oceanside, CA.
The trip was planned for his two week break before hitting the books again in the upcoming fall semester. After only 45mins in San Francisco and still sore from the 23hr bus ride he found his bike and all his equipment stolen. Luckily he was left with the clothes he was wearing, his phone and wallet.
Through the kindness of others and countless blessings he managed to put together a few things within 48hrs and began the bike ride home.
Now here's where the helping comes in. We have put together a fund raising site to help repay those who have helped him along the way and attempt to replace some of the lost equipment. We don't expect much but anything that can be donated would be greatly appreciated. He's a good kid and he literally worked until his shoes were filled with sweat while painting houses in the San Diego heat to save up for the lost biking and UL backing equipment most of which was purchased here on BPL.
