I ran across this insulated plastic cup at a thrift store today. It is a simple plastic cup with a snap-on lid and a neoprene cozy. It hits my digital scale at 2.5oz/70g and holds 120z/350ml. The closest I have seen is the REI mug at 4.9oz (http://www.rei.com/product/409140). Even the titanium double-wall cups are heavier.

With a natural tendency towards clumsiness I would have to pack the McDonald's cup inside Dale's cup just to get it to camp.

Maybe whoever wants one can write and ask for a sample — word it right and you may even get it for free. :)

Better yet, they may sell their mistakes cheap.

I've tracked them down to the manufacturer to see what I can get.

As far as the promo company, I'd buy more with a BPL label (hint, hint, wink, wink).

I did get two at the thrft store, so I'm good for now. I could do without that smiley face!

The MacDonald's cups are light, but I'd end up ten miles up the trail with nothing to drink my coffee in and styrofoam chunks in the bottom of my pack.
