Has any one compared EE Hoodlum to Zpack Goose Hood?

Just as the Subject states. Interested to hear opinions of comparisons from experience. I know Goose Hood is .2 oz lighter, does Hoodlum have design advantages?

I hike Sierras high in early shoulder season, but hate being cold.

Thanks

Heading out in a few days to attempt JMT Sobo

one big difference is the hoodlum is Climashield Apex, where the zpacks/goosefeet is 850 Fill Power Water Resistant Goose Down.

Disclaimer: I work at Enlightened Equipment, and am the guy in the Hoodlum photos (but I didn't have my glasses on, so if I look spacey, that's why).

I'll just throw in that the most obvious difference is that we use synthetic insulation. We ended up going that way since it handles sweat and oils without degrading loft, so in my own experience anyway I've felt more comfortable using it out and about, besides just sleeping. Also I'm sure you noticed the front section can be opened, which again I like for making it useful in more conditions. Your mileage my vary, but that's kind of the rationale in the design anyway.
