Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info on what denatured alcohol that you use, this information is of great help. I actually find it interesting that there is such a variation in the quality of denatured alcohol’s available in the US.
In my testing I have found a direct correlation between the amount of heating energy available in the alcohol fuel and the amount of alcohol fuel by weight required to boil a known volume of water.
It is a pity that IPA is such a dirty fuel. I hope to start testing on mixtures soon.
