just like the title says, could try mineral spirits but just would like to know what would not damage the cuben fiber. i have the cuben tape and would like to remove the old seam sealer before putting the tape on as the old seam sealer is wore out and leaking in spots
Goof off was recommended to my by someone who makes quite a bit of cuben goods. I've successfully used lacquer thinner to remove sap from the bottom of my Hexamid.
Ymmv and all that…
Tape it on the inside. Your sealer is on the outside I presume. No conflict.
Silicone rubs off of cuben mostly with a little hand friction.
