The Yosemite high Sierra camp loop is a 50 mile loop conceived in 1914. Since 1924 rangers have been guiding groups through the Yosemite / Sierra Nevada mountains. I just completed the route last week . It was magnificent!

Did I talk to you on the road between toulumne lodge and the ranger station last Thursday? I pulled out my map and we talked about the route. It would be a funny coincidence if you are that guy.
Must have misse you, Thursday night we were at the Merced Lake High Sierra camp.

Sunday- tuolomne to glen Aulin
Monday glen Aulin to May Lake
Tuesday , May Lake to Sunrise
Wednesday , Sunrise to Merced lake
Thursday lay over at Merced Lake
Friday , Merced lake to vogelsang
Saturday Vogelsang to Tuolomne
Ok, you are a different guy then. I talked to a group of people around the same time who were planning a high sierra camp loop.
