Mosquitoes in Emigrant

I was just checking the 2014 Mosquito reports over at High Sierra Topix and someone has a report from Emigrant from 7/17-7/20 (page 10 of the thread)

If anyone is interested:

Relief Reservoir – none
Lower and Upper Relief Meadows – none
Salt Lick Meadows – none
Spring Meadow – none
Occasional mosquito in really shady forested areas in between the above.
Emigrant Lake – none
Maxwell Lake – none
Horse Meadow – none
Summit Meadow – needed multiple applications of DEET, but didn't need to use a head net.
Occasional mosquito in really shady forested areas in between the above.
Grizzly Meadow – none
High, Emigrant Meadow, Middle Emigrant Meadow Lakes – none
Blackbird Lake – none
Mosquito Pass, Lunch Meadow – none

We only used DEET few times. With the exception of Summit Meadow it was essentially mosquito free.
