I will be doing the Spider Gap- Buck Creek Pass loop in the Galcier Peak Wilderness (Sept. 6-13). I was wondering if anyone has any information on the the conditions of the trail this year especially the the glacier at Spider Gap. John

Check trip reports at nwhikers.net. It's a little early for this year, but unless the area gets closed by fire, there will be plenty of reports long before you get there. I would have a Plan B and Plan C ready just in case, though.
That's not really a glacier, just a permanent snowfield.
