Big Sur Ca, Temps 55 low 74 high, no rain. I whipped this together quickly before I leave for the trip tomorrow so I may have forgotten something. Let me know what you think! BTW, this is my first UL solo list/trip, so many items would normally be shared.
Looks good. I personally wouldn't pack any clothing other than the windshirt and sleeping socks.
Yeah I was thinking the same but I like keeping my bag clean, and also don't like the feeling of bare skin on a sleeping bag. I am bringing the lightest base layer I have, in the future I will be getting a lighter layer for that purpose. Also lightening up the sleeping bag for a summer quilt, I have a GG Gorilla on the way, and a solo cook kit.
Bandanna bath it before bed, get's all the trail dust off for 8 ounces of water.
Doesnt stop me from sweating at night. Also I mentioned I don't like the feeling of nylon on bare skin. I wash my face and Hands before turning in. I'm thinking silk base layers
Any who, I have tweaked my gear list but haven't recorded it yet. With my new back pack, quilt, stove and a few other tweaks ill be going out this weekend w 7.2lbs bw.
