Attempted to thru-hike the 15 14ers in Colorado's Sawatch Range in 5 days, but had some weather issues and only tagged 9 of the summits. Had a great trip anyhow. Here's my report:

Very impressive! Looks like cool terrain. What La Sportiva Shoes are those?
Good catch on the shoes. Those are a 2015 model for which the operating name is "Mutant". They worked really well for this. 11oz shoe with the old Crosslite outsole but a different last (more like the Quantum). Breathable, comfortable. They held up quite well too. I've used the Ultra Raptor a lot for backpacking, but I think I like this even better.
Tall mountains, big miles, strong legs, short shorts, small packs, huge smiles! Thanks for sharing this Peter, this is a route I badly want to do in a similar style.
