I recently got a cheap ($79) brother sewing machine from walmart and a couple of yards of sil-nylon and started making stuff sacks. Then after a couple of weeks I ordered some supplies from diygearsupply, about 30 bucks worth and made my first solo tarp. here is some pics in a fb album
