Image shows clouds dipping into the Pacific momentarily … – bring yer moisture-resistant stuff folks. Sky camp vistaSure is pretty but can you hike it? …. to paraphrase the movie "the Dirty Dozen". With the Rest of the West in drought, I did 4 days and 3 nights at the Point Reyes seashore. Essentially I used the vast trail network to make my own mini-loops and ate each lunch outside the seashore. This ensured at least several miles a day (a couple days in the teens for mileage). While this lowered my weight, fellow campers gave me their bottles of wine, cans of craft beer, and other intoxicants at the first sight of rain as they fled. I found I did not mind the extra weight at all.

Now I need a detox from my detox..

Highs in the 60's/70's, lows in the 50's (though damp enough to feel cooler). This is more a conditions report and a reminder to get a ticket to the Bay Area now.
