I'm looking for a light down jacket with a hood that will fit over a climbing helmet (Petzl Elios or Black Diamond Halfdome). It seems a lot of manufacturers design hoods to fit under a helmet, which is a hassle if you want to take the hood on/off.
I'll consider anything under 18oz, but something more like 10oz would be great.
I have a Montbell Light Alpine Down Parka (Large, 396gr.), and a Montbell UL Down Guide Parka (Large, 282gr.). They both fit over my Black Diamond Half Dome, but the Light Alpine fits good, the Guide Parka fits, but is quite tight.
