Interesting article indeed.

A decade ago, give or take a few years, I was reading up on the Clovis Point and Solutrean hypothesis. At that time, there was some research that convinced me that a small portion of native americans were of european descent and that it was likely they migrated over during the Ice Age by skirting and sleeping on ice.

Anyways, after reading your article, I was interested to see if there was anything new on this. Per wikipedia, apparently this theory has been mostly rejected it seems.

Solutrean hypothesis

Not that this has anything to do with your article but thought this was interesting too.

Hmmm, having a higher red blood cell count is not a good thing, according to that article. Living at 6000ft, I'll have to use that excuse with my wife whenever she asks why I'm having another alcoholic beverage. "Thinning the blood, my dear. So I can bother you into our retirement years."
