Got mine today in the mail. While I am still at work and won't be able to pack it up with my gear until tonight when I get home, I will give a short review of my first impression upon receiving it.
I love it already. Beautiful hi quality construction. Top notch. The stitching is all done perfectly, inside and outside of the pack. This pack is definitely hyperlight! I love the material used and placement of each one. The pockets are all perfectly sized and placed. Some other reviews I have read claimed to be concerned about the durability of the Murmur. I don't have any concerns whatsoever. I think if you keep it packed within the recommend weight it will be right on the money and hold up fine. As with any of my light weight gear I will take special care of it and not be or do foolish things with it. I stuffed it with some clothes and such I have here at work and tried it on..feels very comfortable. Mind you I an 5 ft 10 and weigh approximately 220 lbs. My waist size is 36-38 (depending on style/manufacturer) and the Murmur Hyperlight seemed to be a perfect fit. It is a small bag and narrow but I have my pack weight down to anywhere from 9 – 10 lbs so this should be a perfect fit for what I need. Other then quality I will add that it looks sharp also! I can't wait to use it on my next trip..hopefully I can sneak away for a night or two within the next 2 weeks and use it and get a real feel for it in action. I will report back after I actually use it.

Yes. Tonight I packed my new Murmur with what I will be bringing with me on my next weekend trip. 5 lbs 4 ounces, not weighing food and water. My food will be minimal (I will not overpack) and water will be plentiful where I plan on going. The pack is perfect!!
The Murmur is a nice looking pack. I like how the sit-pad is so easy to access.
I've been using mine since they came out a couple years ago…I added hip-belt pockets (from GG) and use the waist belt only to hold the hip-belt pockets in place. I keep it loose and carry the entire weight (never more than 20 pounds with water) on my shoulders.
Welcome to the enjoyment of the Murmur!
Yes, I will most likely be removing the waist belt. Keeping the load well under 9 lbs will not require using it. I know I am going to LOVE using this pack.
Everyone is different but that's how I carry my MLD Prophet. Technically, I can use my prolite mattress as an internal frame and transfer the weight to my hips but I find that at 20 lbs or less, which is all I will likely carry in this pack, this is unnecessary. I like that this frees up room on my waist to carry other items like bear spray, etc.
