Supposedly, the new nanopro fabric is quite (grain of salt) breathable according to a couple of reviews. Generally, you get to pick two between 'breathable', 'UL' & 'inexpensive', but I'm hoping this jacket is the exception. I just got mine today, and I like the fit and finish. Like any american brand I've tried, the arm articulation kinda sucks, but otherwise, out of the box, it looks good. I'm not eager enough to test the jacket outside of actual use, which in CO is thankfully sort of rare, but eventually I'll report back with how it compares to my beloved rab demand (event)
