I am trying to protect my Fosters cooking can/pot from further damage. On it's first trip out it got a slight ding in it. When I 'popped' it back out it left a little crease, it doesn't leak but hey that was a warning ding. So, can anyone point me in the right direction please for a caddy to protect my cooking gear from the dreaded mid hike squash to uselessness. Ta

Hi Mik,
take a look at here:

or two Ziplock Twist'n'lock containers from local grocery store coupled up.

Nice plastic container. Originally found this one when the Heineken Keg was popular.
I found a caddy (in emergency) for next weekend's 4 nighter trip. It weighs in at 70g (roughly 2.3 ounces)……not sure how much lighter I am going to get as this plastic container has a hard shell and is PERFECT sizing.
If you are going to haul a "caddy", you have the wrong pot for YOU. Get a more durable pot, and it will be lighter than the pot/caddy combo.
