I am picking up a GG kumo, (be jealous), and was curious what kind of modifications you have made. Did you cut off the hip belt? Is the belt even needed? Did anyone add the shoulder pockets? What straps did you shorten? What did you do to make it a more custom pack for you?
I have a big tear in the mesh pouch due to,blow downs snagging said pocket.

Nice, I bet that adds to the functionality by letting you see into the pocket better, also, it gives you another way to grab your items out. Haha! Really though, that sucks!
Well worth it though. It performed well on its initial voyage and I've used it for some trips since then.

I am off to the San Juans next week and plan on using it 5-6 days as well.
