I'm doing a 7 day hike in France, half the time in tents, the other half in refuges. The refuges require us to leave our hiking shoes or boots by the entrance. so…. should we just bring one extra pair of wool socks for indoor use, or bring a pair of those cheap hotel slippers (which magically find their way into my suitcase on business trips :-) )
Anyone have experience in these refuges, will socks be ok?
