Thanks, I've been looking for a write up exactly like this the past few days! I love doing PhotoSpheres on my phone, and have been wondering if I could use an actual camera to do it. I think I'll stick with my phone for now, though!
It's a little cost prohibitive to keep the camera system light if you are not already setup with some of the gear.
I'm still amazed how well the smartphone app does. Have you tried using the phone on a tripod to give it more stability and accuracy?
