Powdered milk (Nido) go bad?

I would not mix the milk powder into the granola. Instead, to save volume, maybe grind up the granola finely so that it packs better.

"But, Ive got to mail out resupplies up to 4 weeks in advance. So, Im having cold feet about putting the Nido in with the Bear Naked Granola. I really need to so it fills the voids in the granola and cuts down on volume some. Im worried about moisture in the granola doing something."

Why not keep them separate when you mail them, and mix them when you pick up your resupply?

Im leaning toward keeping them separate for now. But I want my resuppy to be "bump and run", I dont want to spend any time repackaging, throwing out trash, etc. Trying to have everything ready to roll.

Check with Nido website to see what the shelf life of it is after opening. Generally a year I think. But I have used powedered milk beyond that time frame.

NIDO’s shelf life is 12 months. It is also recommended the milk be refrigerated after preparation AND discard unused preparation after 24 hours.
