Greetings. I am planning to take a short backpacking trip in the Big Horn Mountains next week, starting at the West Tensleep Lake trailhead (9,075 ft.) and ending up at Mistymoon Lake (10,236 ft.). I have a couple simple questions:
1) Does anyone know what high/low temperatures I should expect?
2) Does anyone know the availability of stream water to filter in that area? This route follows West Tensleep Creek, which looks good on my map, but I have no real world experience in that area. If nothing else it looks like I could filter from Lake Helen and Lake Marion along the way.
