Alright, welcome me to the forum so I don't feel stupid. I'm pre med(pharmacy) so I'm poor. Made a tyvek tent, in the process of making my own quilt(can't remember the brand (possibly climashield apex 5oz I think(Alaskan amber is the bomb!)) and plan on using my free(military stand down) arc teryx day pack. I know it's heavy but the molle thing is cool plus it's camo. Smiley face. Thinking about pads. Thermarest summit for $40 on eBay. Hate my milsurp self inflating(spent a night on it in 40f weather and hated the feeling of cold). Bought a trangia, made a nimble nomad stove out of .025 aluminum and added a modification for esbit tabs. 3 fuel stove. Camelbak thermobak 3l (also military stand down) and filter. Plus the usual. Some kinda filter(sawyer?). I live in north Idaho so mountain water is pretty clean(except for brook trout shit). Anything anybody would suggest?
