I was wondering if anyone has done camping and kayaking in Canada in the Queen Charlotte Islands. Its a fairly remote place so everything needs to be planned ahead of time. I would love to hear from anyone who has been there and any recommendations they might have for where to go and things to see!
I wish I could help on your specific questions on this. Instead I will just wish you a great trip and express envy. I have had an obsession with the Haida (a.k.a. Haida Gwaii) for a decade or more, that started with reading Robert Bringhurst's translations, and has slowly degenerated into the inevitable hanging of Haida art on my walls. LOL
So its on my bucket list to go to the Queen Charlotte Islands. Please, please post a trip report if you go, and tell us what you figured out. If not, then just PM it to me. :-)
