I just received my custom 2 person bug bivy from John at Bear Paw Wilderness Designs. I use the regular bug bivy for my solo trips and I love it!! I mean that.. I do love BPW bug bivy. I decided that since I love it so much I wanted to find a 2 person one like it for when my son comes out with me. I searched everywhere but came up empty. Finaly decided to reach out to John from bear Paw Wilderness and see if he would possibly consider making me a custom 2 person style bug bivy. He got back to me asap and agreed to build me one. 4 weeks later..here it is!! I got it. Exactly what I was wishing for and even more. Thanks John. Pleasure doing business with you and you have customer for life.

Off hand I'm not sure. I am still at work. I will weigh it tomorrow when I get home and report back.

I weighed it last night..In its stuff sack with the pole..exactly 1 lb. For me that is perfect!! It's packs down nice n small. I can pitch it anywhere..it's plenty big for 2 people..ex myself and my son. It pitches in about 10 seconds. This is just perfect. Like I said I use the regular bug bivy and really enjoy it, now this will get plenty of use when I bring my son out with me. This paired with a cuben tarp (if needed), is already lighter and more convenient then my 2 person MH SuperMega ul 2…and smaller to pack.

Been trying to upload a few pictures from my phone..but keeps saying file to big. I dunno..I'll see if I can figure it out somehow. Why can't it ever be easy??

I've never been able to upload pictures from my phones so kudos for figuring it out. If you're a mac user, open the file using Preview, slide the scale back a couple notches to shrink the file size, and then export it back to your desktop or wherever. Can't remember how to do this on a PC.
