I picked up an REI RevelCloud jacket at an REI Garage Sale and wanted to use it instead of my EMS Hyland fleece for an upcoming through hike. It's much lighter (12.5 oz instead of 20.8 oz) and seems to have better wind and water protection ….. but what about warmth? Are they comparable for chilly windy days?
Primaloft much warmer – even at that lighter weight.
If you wear it while hiking you'll sweat – unless it's 10 degrees F.
Godd for when you're done hiking for day.
