Can I do this without the flavors co-mingling?
If I deydrate, say, spicy sausage and chicken breast on separate trays but at the time, will my chicken taste like sausage?
I hate the thought of my sliced apples tasting like the socks I'm drying on the top tray.
Thanks!

Yes.
Agreed.
Jun 13, 2014 at 11:19 am #2111297I do this almost every time.
I just make sure to put the items that may drip (marinated beef jerky) on the bottom so it doesn't drip on my fruit.
I probably wouldn't put stinky wet socks in there with my bananas ;)
