I'm not sure what catagory to ask this question but here it is…I have a Limefuel L60x external battery to use primarily for my iPhone 4s and maybe iPad mini. It has no problem charging my phone with the original cord that came with the phone, but the cord that came with the Limefuel doesn't charge it. Forget the mini. The second end attached with the limefuel cord doesn't even fit the mini iPad.

Is there a reason why one cord works and the other doesn't? I even took off the case to make sure the connector fits my phone, which it appears so, but who knows.

Possibly you have a bad cord. I have the limefuel 30 pin cord from when I bought my lx180 from them last year and it charges my iPhone 4 and iPad 3 without issue. As for the mini you would need to have a lightning cable to be able to charge it as they were one of the first devices to change from the 30 pin to the lightning connector

One other thing to check is that the adaptor on the end of your cable is plugged in fully to the micro USB end of the cable as if it is loose then it will not charge. I have had this happen with my limefuel cable before

Thanks. I will send them an email to see if it can get replaced.
