+1 on steripen opti
As someone else just pointed out, it is just less fiddly than filters (screw, unscrew, disconnect, connect, backflush, etc.,). And I’ve been enjoying dip-walk’n-stir. I don’t slow down the groups I’m with so I can carry less water. I keep the 1L platy and opti ready so I don’t have to take off my pack at springs.
