Looking to pick up a bug net for the hummingbird single hammock I just got. Wondering what ppl here recommend for bug nets?

Thanks

Browse through hammock forums’s section for bugnets. More than you ever wanted to know on bugnet’s.

Hammock Forum

I’ve always used hammocks with integrated bugnets so not a lot of help but theres a small group of hangers here so someone may have a decent suggestion, if not check that link. They’re obsessed in a good way. :)

I use a $19.95 bugnet from DP Hammocks. Scroll down on this link to get to it:

DP Bugnet

It’s really light – about 18 grams on my scale and that originally caused me some problems if there was a breeze of any kind. I helped myself to some snap barrettes from my daughter’s hair stuff and use those to clip the bugnet to my hammock – two on each side.

I’m lucky and don’t often need a bugnet so carrying this and not using it doesn’t frustrate me!

It seems to me that the Bias Buginator is one of the best designs.
I use a hmmock with an integrated bugnet, but it uses a zipper, wich adds weight and can be unreliable. The buginator does not and is very light.

You will want to use a ridgeline with the bugintaor, but I would never not use a ridgeline anyway.
