These appear to have been around for some time. I found one locally at a gearswap (passed as it looked a little too worn for comfort).

They're listed for $99.98 at Campmor.

Can anyone speak to their quality?

I don't mind the fact they're 18-19 ounces really – the extra 60 grams between a new Trekker in Regular, and the EXT isn't a dealbreaker.

Is there any durability concerns with these being first generation Neoair designs, and made with a nylon shell, rather than the current polyester?

I havent been able to find much comment on the durability of these. Any concerns that as a "prototype" construction and material used in this pad are not as good as current generation Neoairs?

I've been using the first gen of the Neoair and the Neoair EXT since they first came out, and they're both still in great shape.

I got a hole once in the Neoair, and fixed it in the field with no problems and the patch is still holding strong about 2 years later. I was actually very surprised with how easy the field repair turned out to be.

I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy an other one at that price.

I know a lot of people complained about the crinkly (potato chip bag) noise they felt that the old material had, but I've never had a problem with it being noisy at all. No more noisy than the rubbing sounds from a closed-cell in my experience.

Hope this helps you.

EDIT: OK I'm loosing my mind. I meant to say that I have the first gen of the Neoair EXT and of the Neoair All Season. The exact models listed on closeout on Campmor.
