I am looking for a pretty bomber pair of shell pants for cycling/hiking/camping/everything, for winter conditions. I settled on the Haglofs Rugged Mountain Pants, but I was wondering what other pants are available in a similar vein?

Lightweight nylon with reinforced butt and knees, and good pockets, and good features. I would LOVE drawstring cuffs.

Edit: Let's start a BPL Habit. I'll add suggestions from the thread here for anyone searching later.

Max,

I absolutely love Montanes Terra pants, they are worth looking at.

Yes on the Montane Terra pants, check which thickness you want. They offer a couple different versions (some more burly, some thinner, more stretchy).

I have the standard Terra's, I love the mesh backed thigh vents.

I use mine most of the year, and layer underneath them when needs be, when it gets silly cold I change over to Paramo.

If you can't find your size at a retailer, contact the US distributor, Sport Hansa. They will be more than happy to special order them for you if they don't have the item in stock.
