So I'm looking to eventually buy an EE Revelation, but I'm not sure what size to get. I camp with my smallish black lab (55lbs) and want to find a quilt that will fit over me as well as her. I'm thinking I need to get an X-Wide quilt, but if I can squeeze just a regular Wide that would be better. Anyone with an EE quilt willing to chime in?

What I did was take the measurements from the EE website and pin a blanket in my house to the corresponding size using a tape measure and some clothes pins. I used that as a gauge for width and length of my quilt that I ordered.

Worth a try

I understand that, but I guess my dog has de-evolved haha, she sleeps on my bed every night so that's what she's used too. She gets cold while sleeping pretty easily, which is weird because she has no problem jumping into freezing river water along my hikes.

I own a long/wide EE Engima Quilt. I am 6'3" 190lbs. My dog is a Golden/McNab mix at 52 lbs. and likes to be close as well. We cowboy camp most of the time and I find the quilt is plenty large. I will be adding a small closed cell pad for her for the shoulder seasons when the ground is wet and/or cold. Happy hiking!
