Been thinking of getting this tent, provided I can sell my Double Rainbow.

If I'm reading this correctly, in it's lightest configuration, it's a 1 lb, double-wall, free-standing, one person tent.

The only thing is that it is like $700. That said, it's only like $100 more than a Hexamid, but you gain a double-wall, and a free-standing ability. Plus a cool "Moon-Roof" feature.

I did some research and apparently the customer service has been pretty shoddy in the past. I have only seen one review, and that was by Backpacker's Magazine.

Anyone have experience with this tent?

Thanks.

There is a "product availability" tab on their website which allows you to check what is in stock. If it is in stock you will receive it fairly quickly, and your credit card won't be charged until it ships.

(Click on the tent, then scroll all the way down to the bottom left of the page and you will see "product availability".)

You need to read a little closer. It's lightest double wall configuration is 1 lb 6.3oz (w/o stakes) which is still very good. The 1 lb config does not have a mesh interior or even a floor for that matter. The 1 lb 3 oz option uses a footprint for the floor.
