I am looking for walking poles as central pole for my shangri la 3 shelter. The walking poles should be able to folded to around 40 cm in length to fit into my osprey exos 46 pack. I travel a lot so hope everything can be contained inside the pack instead of attaching to the pack. I currently have black diamond ultra distance but they are too short(I have tried strapping the two poles together with strings but just found it's not that secure). I have also used another black diamond poles which are long enough with the original extender but folded length is too long at 60 cm, so have to attach them outside my pack.
