It's not yet available, and is designed for third world use rather than backpacking. However, I think this could absolutely be adapted for backpacking use. And it's cheap – a whole book of filters (enough for 4 years of use for 1 person) costs under $5. The biggest challenge for backpacking use would be how to adapt the pages to a smaller cover box for mobile use. Definitely doable, however!
