I'm giving a shout out to Goretex and their warranty department on boots.
This is for boots only.
I had an 7 year old pair of Merrell hiking boots that were no longer waterproof, sent them in and they offered to replace the boots at no cost to me, Not just replace the boots but have my pick of any boot that I wanted, (just as I stay in the same price range as the old ones)
I had another pair of Merrell moabs that were about a year old and weren't watertight anymore and they replaced those as well.
And just this past week I sent in a pair of Asolo boots and they called me up again willing to replace them at no cost to me.
Great customer service for boots.
Secondly, why are the goretex liners failing?
I know insoles can wear out the liner prematurely as well as creases in the shoes constantly being flexed but what is goretex researching or specifically looking for.
anyway thought i'd shout out to goretex.
