I am wondering if anyone knows approximately what size Zpacks drybag would work well with a Katabatic Gear Alsek. Thanks if you have any input. I would ask Joe, but I am pretty sure he doesn't have that quilt on hand to check (neither do I…mine is on order).
I can fit my plasma 15 in a medium plus. So you wouldn't need anything larger than that. A medium should work for you, but I don't like having to really compress my down so I put even my summerlite in a medium plus and just roll it or squeeze the air out.
Joe could give you a very specific answer using a Zpacks quilt/bag of similar length, width, and fill as the katabatic.

I actually use two medium-plus roll top bags on most trips. One is for my quilt/bag and the other is for my puffy and clothing. When placed side by side (upright) they fit well in most of my packs as a solid base. One of my bags is a medium-plus pillow dry bag and the other is just cuben. I like the roll tops for this purpose because I can use the same bag no matter what I put in it and if necessary I can just roll it an extra time or two. The weight difference between sizes is negligible but the cost of multiple bags in multiple sizes is not so negligible.
