light weight 2 person bug bivy?

You could ask John at BearPaw if he could make a 2 person version of your bug bivy. It seems he has done so in the past from looking at his custom work page.

I've been scouring the web for my ideal bug/humid weather shelter and the Bearpaw offerings seem very well priced with many custom options. And for 2P I have not come across much else. Most bug bivvies seem to be suited for 1-person use or are effectively Super-Sized directly into more of a tent/tarptent. I'm looking at the Bearpaw Net Tent 2 w/cuben floors + ends (this way I can combine w/a tarp for rain shelter). It's also offered w/a sloped catenary ridgeline; if you want a bivy to just sleep side by side this may work well. Personally I'm considering the standard ridgeline so the tent can serve as a 2-person bug/rain shelter more comfortably. This will really come in handy in buggy spots. It seems the company is really open to custom spec variations based on the dimensions provided; I'm still fine-tuning my options but pulling the trigger soon…

Yes. Thanks for replies. I have emailed John and it seems I will be ordering a custom 1.5 size bug bivy from him. This in junction with his canopy 2 in cuben will work perfect for us. I currently use the regular bug bivy with my MLD cuben patrol shelter, when needed, and I love it. The bug bivy is everything I ever needed..I know this is going to be great!!
