Is there a lip-balm sized sunscreen available? All I can find are the jumbo-sized sunscreen sticks, which are usually 0.6 oz of sunscreen, and then add the plastic case = hefty, for the amount I need (just nose and ear tips). Or maybe you folks have some better tips on how to UL the sunscreen.

Lip-balm sized sunscreen available?

Hmmmm I just buy a huge container and repackage it into a 2 oz dropper bottle. Are you looking for a rub on stick like a lip balm or just a container of that size?
You could always just use a lip balm with sunscreen…
Yes, looking for a minimalist option rub-on stick for nose and ears. (If you use a sunscreen-type lip balm to do that, you get very greasy nose and ears.) I was hoping for a solid sunscreen, in the SIZE of a lip-balm.
Yes, I may have to go the repackage route if a solid-stick-small-package sunscreen doesn't exist. Still, it's liquid, and I was hoping for a solid option.

What it is:
A convenient sunscreen stick that you can apply wherever or whenever you need it.
What it's used for:
When you are exposed to unexpected sunshine rays, reach for your South Seas Skincare Shade Sunscreen Stick SPF 30. This exotic, tropical stick is small enough to fit in your bag or pocket for quick touch ups. You won't ever have to worry about getting caught off guard by the rays again.

what do I win?

I think you win the prize.
My Blistex has 0.14 oz of product, so what I posted must be a Jumbo tube.

That's the right size!…now, are you making a personal recommendation? You've used this product? Simply googling an answer gets a very small prize, but a genuine BPL recommendation gets a fabulous one.
I want to know the prize & I'm not even involved.
haha unfortunately I cannot give a personal BPL recommendation and will have to continue my quest for the fabulous prize at another time.
It looked like it had all the active ingredients of a sunscreen and none of a lip balm though, so assuming it is in a standard lip balm size container I think you will be happy.
Now I'm almost talking myself into buying one.

I was thinking I'd give J Mag my swimming pool; max depth 10 feet. He'd have to come and pick it up, though.
But yeah, that stick looks right, thanks for finding it, I'll give it a try.
A size/weight comparison –

.45 oz in the Badger, .15 oz in the Blistex.
Yes, but is it multipurpose?

A couple years ago I repackaged some stick-style sunscreen in a little flip top case like this:

Like in the picture, mine was leftover from a pair of earplugs, but you could probably find the cases new.
Sunscreen + case weighs 0.5 oz. Works well for using small amounts. Don't remember the sunscreen brand, but I'm about out and need to find some more. So thanks for this thread.
I repackage Banana Boat sunscreen from a larger "balm'style" container (like pictured above) into an empty Blistex container. Works like a charm.
The greasy nose and ears comes from it being designed into a stick, I think it will feel about the same whether it is for lips or not. I have a sport stick suncreen from Coppertone, and it feels on my skin more like a chapstick-type product. If you don't want that then you probably want a lotion and then re-pack from there.
Good info thanks JR.
I like these Coghlan’s containers and use them for fuel, sunscreen, Campsuds, and alcohol hand cleaner. The 1 oz bottle (empty) with cap (top left & right in the photo) weighs 7 grams on my scale. Two of the caps in the package are the popup squirty type. Caps are interchangeable amongst bottles.
