Delmar,
How is the strength around a puncture or tear?
Some bags you can sit on, but a pin hole will propagate the length of the bag in a flash.
– Puncture resistance surprisingly high; difficult to get a ball-point pen tip to puncture it. (My test pen didn't actually puncture the wall, it just made a hernia in the plastic).
– Initial tear resistance excellent (I could not start a tear with my hands, and didn't feel I even came close).
– Once a cut has been started with scissors, then the follow-on tear is relatively easy.
Give it a try and let me know what you think. I recommend the Hickory Barbeque, and remember, you're eating them for science and the benefit of your fellow BPL'ers.
Laminate it with Kevlar.

If DuPont made potato chips, I certainly would.
Baked???!! Do the chips taste good? Where's the grease? Add it yourself? AYOG!
And salt? AYOGAS, then.
