Help! I would like to buy one two-inch (width) buckle and four feet of two-inch (width) webbing to finish off a hipbelt. Looking for top quality (e.g. ITW Nexus, Cordura). Most online retailers require bulk purchases or give terrible product descriptions. What model names/numbers should I be looking for and where to buy? Thanks.
May 4, 2014 at 5:57 am #2099000I've had a great experience with buying items from Rockywoods. Fairly quick shipping and good products.
They've got milspec webbing in 2" width: PN N2SD-Black
and also Nexus 2" buckles though it looks like no black ones at the moment. Here's the code for the foliage green one: DSRB-N-2FG
They also have Coyote Brown and Tan colors with matching webbing.May 4, 2014 at 7:06 am #2099010You can also find both here:
May 4, 2014 at 7:34 am #2099017Try Strapworks.com. They've got all kinds of webbing and buckles. I've been getting my webbing from them lately as they have a wide variety of colors as well as type (light/heavy polypro, nylon, etc). They've also got pretty much every size/type of buckle you'll need.
Also, they're located in Oregon, so you'd get the items pretty quickly.

May 8, 2014 at 7:16 am #2100429I own a few of these and they are slick and light considering the load rating. I have not used them yet.
That's a polymer Cobra GT buckle, designed by Austrialpine, manufactured by ITW-Nexus. I got mine from Gryphon (sic) in Canada.
May 8, 2014 at 9:20 am #2100453where'd you get the cobra buckles?

He misspelled Grypheng
May 9, 2014 at 10:36 am #2100824Mil-spec Monkey is a decent place for one-off pieces of hardware. The plastic Cobra Buckles are less than $4 there.

May 9, 2014 at 2:11 pm #2100893Thanks, there are a couple of hardware pieces I'd been interested in that they have in stock. Definitely a good place to find some of the hardware that is a bit harder to source.
