Ideas for dyi project

I got an old pump that i dont use anymore.Its barrel is made of CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer).Its about 11,5 cm long and 1,7 cm diameter.

Any ideas what would be good usage for this?
First i thought of a light,but it wont be very practical.
Also thought of storage use,but not best use of CFRP.
A water filter would be cool,but too hard for DYI.

I have little experience in dyi,so complicated projects will be hard to pull off.
