Marmot Atom 40° Sleeping Bag 40% off

Sierra always has a 35%, and sometimes a 40% off coupon….

Usually I use a quilt but this could be good for my wife, and since its the long (womens), maybe even myself.

That MH women's bag is a VERY narrow cut, even in the long version. I have one that I bought for my wife thinking I could use it as well, I fit, but barely. Contrast that with the Marmot women's bags that sport the same advertised dimensions and it's night and day. The Marmot has MUCH more room.

I can totally confirm Eric's observation of the women's MH Phantom vs. the Marmot bags. I returned a women's Phantom (Long) to STP because, although it *claimed* to be 58" in the hips (like my Marmot Helium), it felt like 54" or 55". The Marmots have TONS more room, plus a more comfortable fabric — just all-around better quality/comfort (but also more expensive!).

My girlfriend uses this bag and hasn't complained about the narrow cut. It must be because she loves to be snug in her covers. We got it off of steepandcheap for $130 on a flash deal a little while back. Great Deal!

It's a nice bag – the point I was making was that the width measurements provided by MH are "very optimistic" on that bag, which could be misleading to those who are expecting to be able to move around a lot in it.
Thank goodness your GF likes to be snug, because you snagged a fantastic bargain. :^)
