Has anyone tried this combo out yet? I've got it set up in the backyard and I'm not sure about it…….

I was just about to try the same in my trailstar. Let me know how it works.

So far not well.

I'm going to play with securing the corners of the net to a few of the tie outs of the TS. If I can get it to work I'll post pics. I really want this to work……

Jennifer, I am really looking for something very minimal to protect me on the rare night when mosquitoes are a problem. I was hoping I wouldn't even have to stake or tie it out. Is there any reason I couldn't just let it drape from a top tie out down to the edges of my pad?

I tried this very combination with my TS and didn't care for it at all. I configued some tie outs as well but I just didn't care for the fact that I had all of this great space in the TS and was confined to a net was a small space that draped all over me. I then bought the Oooks net they made for the TS and it was better but it was very expensive but still draped more than I would have liked. I ended up selling the whole gig but still regret getting rid of the TS. It's a great shelter.

While I don't use the trailstar, I do have the S2S netting & use small velcro tabs on my pad to attach to the netting. Although I don't use this setup all the time, it appears to work fine.

OK, I am also trying to play with the S2S nano nets….I like the idea of Velcro instead of using shock cord to guyout to an exterior stake or bringing along stakes to put inside the tent. Could you let us know a bit more about how you attached the Velcro, which Velcro, etc?

I cut small 1×1 squares of the Velcro "Extreme" tabs. They are indoor/outdoor and I stuck them at the top corners of my pad, and halfway down. I let the rest of the netting drape at the end of my bag. I only adhered the "male" end of the Velcro, for the netting sticks right to it.

I could use more tabs if I wanted to, but sofar, no need to.

I really think I'm doing something wrong…all these pictures have the net just so…taut. But mine, inside the trailstar (too low?) is just a big tangled ball of nanoseeum that I can't find my way out of.

So far a dud…

But I'll keep trying!

Sounds horrible. Is the peak of the nano at the peak of the TS?

as snug as it will go. Later I'll try stretching out the bottom with lines. I just got a bit frustrated at the fiddliness of the whole thing.

Maybe someone else will have a better outcome – otherwise I'll try again later. Had to go to work.
